The viewpoint stands on the Etxauri mountain pass
metres above sea level. A panoramic table explains the excellent views towards the Pamplona Basin, the rocky wall faces of the Sierra of Sarbil and Mount El Perdón. On a clear day you can make out the silhouette of the Pyrenees to the east and another, closer, mountain ranges: Arangoiti, Izaga, Higa de Monreal, etc. Beneath, the river Arga flows through fields where cereals, wine and cherries are grown, all of them of excellent quality and reputation.
