The Lacturale group was set up in 2005 by 25 stockbreeders. The result of their efforts is the launch of milk under the Lacturale
brand name. Its flavour and quality has been certified as 'integrated production', as well as receiving a number of prizes nationally and internationally.
The group also had the idea of informing and entertaining the public through a Cattle Interpretation Centre
. During the 90-minute-visit the visitor sees the Etxeberri farm (breeding shed, silos, production unit, pit and dairy). In the first part of the visit an explanation is given on looking after the cows, the production process for milk and milking with robots. The second part, accompanied by an audiovisual presentation, focuses on packaging and commercialisation.
