Navarra is ideal for exploring by bike. Flat terrain, other parts with steeper slopes, woodlands, deserts, former railway lines ... A host of trails to explore the region on two wheels.
If you're with your family, then the greenways are a good option. If you'd like to do the Way of St James then note that you've got two options: you can either follow the route by road or go along the signposted Way. By road, you need to take traffic into account while, along the Way, you'll have to get off your bike for some of the more difficult sections.
We'd also encourage you to check out the Tierra Estella-Lizarraldea MTB space, offering more than 2000 kms of trails with options for everyone, including families, cyclists just getting started, right up to more experienced cyclists, as the trails are marked with different colours showing the overall difficulty level. And if you're looking to bike in the Pyrenees, we'd recommend the Irati MTB centre, with more than 400 km of trails of different levels of difficulty.
