The exhibition area is located on the first floor of the house named Casa Zandueta (XVIII) in the locality of Lizarraga de Izagaondoa. The museum was created for the purpose of making known the work of the 12th and 13th century medieval master stonemason, Petrus, who engraved his signature, "Petrus me fecit", in the stonework in the church of Guerguitiáin and in other churches in Navarra.

The exhibition is divided into a number of areas in which the following exhibits are on display:

1. Hall: a stone jar, a flax carder, a hearth and a model showing the "Petrus Route", places in which the stonemason left his mark.

2. Petrus Room I: capitals from the churches of Guerguitiain and Vesolla and oil paintings related to the valley, by painters from Navarra.

3. Oven room: the original bread oven at the house, together with a display of the tools required to operate it.

4. Petrus Room II: medieval capitals from the churches of Vesolla, Zolina, Monreal, Eusa, Najurieta and Garaioa, original 12th century exhibits: voussoirs, corbels, ashlars, etc.

5. Courtyard of the Stelae: stelae found in the valley.

6. Cellar: dedicated to grapevines and wine.

The house also has a multi-purpose room for temporary exhibitions, talks and other cultural events.
