In the
Anue valley north of Pamplona, this small village is surrounded by gentle hills. Its centre is made up of typical large Atlantic houses, some with coats of arms on their façades, on both sides of the main street.
The village of Lantz maintains
one of the oldest traditions in Navarre, its
rural carnival. On Shrove Tuesday the village turns into the scene of an ancestral representation featuring the hunting down, catching and burning of the mythical bandit Miel Otxin.
