Food-related activities

The gastronomy of Navarre is not only evident on the plate or in museums; it also appears in a multitude of annual festivals on stalls of home-made products or on themed days, which pay homage to one or other of the products or typical dishes of this region. Likewise, there are workshops and conferences which go into detail on culinary know-how.

Put the dates in your diary and do not miss the opportunity to taste the delicacies of Navarre.

Anavarra.com. Guided visits, tastings, and lunches in bodegas (wineries) located along the Pilgrim's Way to Compostela.

Entrevinos. Visits to wineries with tasting sessions and/or lunch, wine tasting initiation courses and discussions on wine and the traditional products of Navarre. These are held every Thursday in the NH Iruña Park Hotel in Pamplona.

Guiarte. Tasting sessions in the ‘Museo del Vino’ and visits to wineries in the area.

Incoming Navarra. Voucher for a trip along the 'Ruta del Pintxo’ (tapas route), dinners in cider houses, visits to wineries with tasting sessions, and food supplied by caterers in the most outstanding natural and cultural spots of Navarre. The Nuevo Casino Principal (opened in 1856) organises a number of activities such as tasting menus and gala lunches and dinners in which guests can take part in the preparation of the dishes.
