Birding Navarra ha sido objeto destacado en un artículo sobre los beneficios que puede tener el turismo ornitológico en la conservación del medio ambiente. Dicho artículo ha sido publicado en la prestigiosa revista World Birdwatch, de BirdLife International.

During the 12th and 13th of December a technical encounter of the Vultouris project was celebrated at the Ochagavía Nature Interpretation Center. Birding Navarra was invited to explain his birding tourism programme.

Birding Navarra took an active part collaborating with the organization of the 2nd Bird Day in Navarre. This event was organized by Mirame Navarra al Natural and took place between the 16th of September and the 2nd of Oktober in different locations of the navarrese mountain area.

The next weekend the last acts of the Second Bird Day will take place at Bertiz Natural Park. Exhibitions, lectures and birding walks are some of the acts that will happen in the next days. Between them the famous naturalist and journalist Joaquín Araujo will talk about Forest and Birds in his lecture.

Between the 19th and 21st of August the British Birdwatching Fair took place at Rutland Water Reserve (Oakham, UK). Birding Navarra was there with an exhibitor stand to promote Navarra as an excellent birdwatching destination.

For the second year a bird migration monitoring programme is working at Lindus (Burguete, Western Pyrenees).

El pasado fin de semana del 25 y 26 de junio la organización SEO/BirdLife organizó una excursión para visitar las Foces de Navarra. En esta excursión se dedicaron a visitar lugares como las foces de Lumbier y Arbaiun, así como la Sierra de Leire.

Desde el 8 al 13 de junio hemos recibido la visita de tres nuevos tour operadores ornitológicos holandeses para conocer Navarra como destino de turismo de naturaleza. Las personas que nos visitaron han sido Godfried Schreur (Natura Aragon), Iris Berends (SNP Natuurreizen) y Laurens Steijn (Birding Breaks).
