In early September, Valtierra turns into Giant Pumpkin Capital for a day. They arrive at the Plaza de los Fueros from different locations ?as well as the Valtierra vegetable gardens, of course. They are exhibited in the square throughout the morning competing against one other. The most striking are the Giant Pumpkins weighing up to 300 kilos that have to be towed with agricultural machinery. The fair also includes an appetizer, a giants' dance and a pumpkin decoration workshop for children.
